Our Story

Rink Dude started with a kid who spent a lot of time at the rink.

As the youngest of three brothers in a hockey family, Luke grew up tagging along to practices, games and tournaments, waiting for his turn on the ice and finding ways to have fun in between.

One day, after another long day at the rink, he said:

"I’m just a Rink Dude."

And that was it.

The name stuck because it felt like something every hockey family already knew. The early mornings. The long drives. The cold rinks. The friendships. The mini sticks in the hallways and the hours spent together waiting for the next game.

Luke wanted Rink Dude to be about all of it.

From day one, his mission was simple: help more kids play hockey.

So Rink Dude became more than something to wear. It became a way to celebrate the people who grow up around the rink and give back to the game that has given our family so much.

Today, 20% of every purchase helps kids play hockey.

As Rink Dude continues to grow, it stays rooted in the things that inspired it from the beginning: We hope it always feels like where it started: a kid, his family, a love for the game and a lot of time spent at the rink.
